Big Winners At VCS!
Idahoans for Choice in Education has announced the winners of the 2009 essay contest. Essays were received from 334 Idaho charter school students, representing nearly 2/3 of Idaho’s charter schools. Essays entitled “Why Education Choice is Important to Me and My Family” were to be 600 words or less. Mickaila Rigby, 9th grade, Vision Charter School, Caldwell took Second Place in the Junior Division winning $300.

UPDATES FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NOVEMBER 19 and 20th.
• NO TITLE 1 MEETING THIS THURSDAY.
• The Title 1 Informational meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 6pm in room C2. Babysitting will be provided at no cost!
• The Drama Club, Orchestra, and Choir will be performing the Pirate Play this Thursday, November 19, 2009 starting at 6:00pm! Students who are performing need to be there by 5:30pm. The play will be performed at the old brick church next to the Caldwell Center of the Arts. The church is on 8th and Everett in Caldwell.
Just a few reminders:
TUESDAY 11/17/09: Picture Retakes AND Vision Charter Spirit Wear orders are due.
WEDNESDAY 11/18/09:Progress Reports go home with students.
Kindergarten/First grade program at 12:10pm in the music room.
THURSDAY11/19/09: December lunch orders are due. Fundraiser paperwork & money is due.
Pirate Play at Caldwell Center for the Arts Theater (old church) at 6:00pm. Students in the play need to
be there by 5:30pm.
Title 1 parents information meeting Thursday at 7:00pm HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO THE PIRATE PLAY.
