All School Read

October 30th will be our whole school culminating celebration of "James and the Giant Peach" by Roald Dahl! The older students have been reading to younger students and the teachers have created fantastic lessons to make the literature come alive.

I encourage you to read it with your child to share this experience with the Vision Community. The teachers will be communicating with you regarding the time of the celebration and needs for volunteers or treats.

Please remember, Vision Charter School will not be celebrating Halloween. Just as we did last year, your child may dress up as a character from "James" during our all school celebration, which will be held October 30th.

New School Building
The Board is looking for a few parents who would be able to visit existing schools during the school day. The purpose would be to use a rubric to evaluate existing schools. Volunteers will need to also be available to attend a few meetings and give input that will be used in making decisions regarding the permanent building. If you are interested, please email: wendyroldenkamp@msn.com.

From the Office

The office does its best to accommodate all route changes and parent notes that get phoned in daily. Please understand that due to the large volume of requests, and limited personnel to deliver them, calls received after 2:40pm may not get to the student in time.

****************************************************************

Enrichment Clubs

The next clubs will begin on November 14th. If you have a skill or hobby you would like to share with the school, we would be delighted to have you! Please contact the office to work out the details.
