RAD, END OF YEAR INFO

The end of the 2010-2011 school year is here! Due to the forecast of rain, we will be moving the last day festivities to the NAMPA CIVIC CENTER for tomorrow, May 28, 2010.
Students should come to school like normal. Teachers and students will load the buses at 8:30am to go to the performance. Click here for directions.
The Awards Ceremony and last day festivities will follow the schedule listed below.
9:00am Choir Performance
9:05-9:20am Student Awards
9:20-9:25am Elementary Dance Presentation
9:50-10:20 More Student Awards
10:15-10:20 Middle and High School Dance Performance
10:20-10:25 Teacher and Classified of the Year Awards
10:25-11:30 RAD (Race Against Drugs Performance)
11:30am Students will load the buses to return to VCS.
12:00pm Students will eat hot lunch, hot dogs, or their cold lunch in their classes or outside weather permitting.
12:30pm Dismissal
12:45pm Bus Departure

If you would like to drive your child to the Nampa Civic Center and meet us there, please sign your child in with their teacher when you arrive. In the event that you would like your child to be checked out to you to return to the school or for the day, you must sign your child out to you with each child’s classroom teacher. 7th-9th grade students must sign in or sign out with the home room teacher. This process is for the safety of all the children.
Due to the shortened availability of time for the program, we will need to announce the recipients of the each award, have them stand, and then we will clap for all students receiving the same award. The students will receive the physical copy of the award back in their room from the classroom teacher. Parent volunteers will be honored in the same manner. Report cards will be distributed by the classroom teacher after the awards ceremony when we return to the school.
