Home Folders
Your child’s Home Folder needs to be taken home every evening and returned every school day. Please help your child become responsible for this. The students have to pay $5 rent on a Borrowed Home Folder each time they forget their own folder.
IXL
Your child has 40 minutes of IXL practice each week. To check your child’s minutes on IXL, click on the Reports tab, click Usage, and then Usage Log. The grade needs to be changed to ALL and the month and date need to be changed for the appropriate week (Saturday through Thursday). Then click update. You will see the accurate amount of minutes your child has been working on IXL during that time period.
Hand Bells
Our class has been working hard to master hand bells. We will be performing at the Christmas program and will also perform at a retirement center (information coming soon).
Craft Show
The students have created many items that will be sold at the craft show held December 3rd at Vision Charter. The show will be held from 9am to 3:00 pm. Students are welcome to sign-up and sell at the show. If you and your child would like to participate, please send me an e-mail and I will let you know what times are available. Each selling session will be 30 minutes. The profits from the sale will be used to pay for a field trip to the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Baker City, Oregon.
Christmas Gifts
If you or your child is thinking of gifting the teacher this year, please gift by giving to the classroom. Our class is in need of large bottles of hand sanitizer, sealable bags (quarts and gallons), red pens, white card stock, pencil-tip erasers, or index cards. Thank you so much for thinking of the classroom this Christmas.
